Thanksgiving is the day when Americans gather around and celebrate their anversary settlement. Setp by setp, the holiday has been turned around as the day of eating. Before I explan why it is like that, I am going to share some history background of Thanksgiving with you guys.
Back to the settlement of May Flower, Whole bunches Alieans who were from European countries landed in the New World. Even though they were extremely straving, the qualitiy of aristocrat urge them to stay away from the hardwork. Actually, they did not know how to do anything anyway because there were all from rich family. Fortunately, there were some Indians who were the Native American generously donate some foods with those aliens. How nice they were! Anyway, as the kinship between Europeans and Native Americans kept growing, they implemented some real stuffs such as cultivating all kinds of veges. The highly developed technicalness of framing certianly amazed Europeans. Furthermore, Europeans surely appreciated how benevolent the Native Ameericans were at the first place. All those good memories were put together. New government of colony officially claimed the third Thursday was Thanksgiving Day.
As the time is flying ,I do not know how fast it is, the new face of Thanksgiving Day is estabilished. You know, merchants like to make money forever. They put so many ads during this day. So people really like to shop on that day and make a huge dinnier at night. The amount of food is so tremendoues that no one can image. Beside the turkey is prominet, there are other good stuffs like potato and bread and season salad and so on. The cool thing is the dinnier can last forever. No wonder American nation have huge population of being fat.
